I just bought my 2025 Highlander XLE last week and right when I went out of the car (parked itt in my spacious garage with a CCTV to see everything so it could not have been me), the case protecting the drivers side mirror at the bottom part just completely fell off. What to do? I'm panicking already even though the dealership said it's covered by the warranty, which OF COURSE, should be. But if I got that problem as soon as I got home isn't it highly likely that I'll have more issues later on? Ughhh please help. Anyone experienced this issue? It's brand new by the way so... what must be the cause?

Yup, I've experienced it before. The dealership would replace it, true, but they usually don't have the part in stock, so the whole mirror will be replaced. I glued mine with a really strong glue so that it wouldn't popped off again

Oh, if the dealership said it's covered by the warranty then don't panic. It's fine. It's likely you could have issues it's not impossible, but at least you know you can rely on your dealer because they're truthful about your warranty.

Wow, does that really work? may I know what kind of gue is it? It saves so much time compared to going to the dealer

glue works, I'm sure, but why would you try to redneck a solution that's a factory problem on a brand new car?
Agree. Honestly it's still their liability and you gotta use up your warranty. All cars WILL have problems later on, you gotta accept that. Better that you know your warranty is good now.
