Windshield wiper issue

Just noticed something odd on my 2022 Toyota Highlander the other day, the driver's side wiper started hesitating mid swipe, like it was catching or dragging for a split second, funny that cos the blade is still pretty new so I dont know why this should be happening, the passenger didnt seem to have an issue though, I cleaned the windshield, checked the arm tension, even swapped blades....again just to be sure but it has the hiccup motion, I haven't had any wiper problems on previous Toyotas, so this one caught me off guard.
Any ideas anyone?

I think the wiper arm spring is getting weaker by the day or something. If not, it might be the pivot starting to bind. If you haven't tried this by now or saw it on search engines, try to hit the joint with a little silicone lube and see if it smooths out.

Honestly, Toyota's quality has slipped in recent years, stuff like this used to be unheard of. Between quirky wipers and cheaper interior materials, it's like they're coasting on reputation more than reliability now
