Will a removable second row console like in the GH works for my highlander?

I got a friend who owns a grand Highlander, I'm curious about the bolt pattern in the car, it looks like it has the same bolt pattern as the 2nd row captains chairs console in my regular Highlander. I want a removable second row console like that but can't seem to find the part to order, not sure if it would work in my car either. It'll be a better solution than the removable mat I have now. Hit me some insights people!

the bolt pattern on the grand highlander is 5x114.3 same as ours. the removable console might fit but you'd need the right part number maybe check with a toyota dealer? it could work better than your mat.

Even though the bolt pattern looks the same it doesn't necessarily mean that they are the same. There could be a slight difference between the seat assembly or console mounts between the two models. It's best to first check for compatibility.

Agree with this. Check with a dealer, it's gonna be much easier and you're gonna be at peace being sure.

A friend of mine did something along those lines with his standard Highlander, he saw the console setup in the Grand Highlander and got inspired. He found a used removable console from a wrecked Grand Highlander, thinking it would be an easy bolt-in swap. It ended up that while the bolt pattern matched, the trim lines and anchor points needed a bit of tweaking. But with some patience and help from the dealership to track down part numbers, he got it all to work
