I noticed a lot of people here are asking questions related to Platinum Toyota Extended Warranty. I want to share my experience about this, maybe it'll be useful for you guys who're thinking about buying an extended warranty.

So, I called 3 people asking about the non-hybrid Toyota Extended Platinum warranty pricing:

First, I contacted Ian from Germain Toyota (formerly Wolverine Toyota) through this email [email protected], he never replied lol

Then I email Jennifer from Germain Lexus of Ann Arbor (formerly from Wolverine Toyota) to [email protected] , she replied after about 3 days, and her prices are way higher compared to the 2022 pricing. Idk if she was deliberately gave me a high price, but $400 increase is nuts. Your pricing can be different.
The last one is Jerry Johnson of Midwestsuperstore, you can email him to [email protected] or call : 620-664-8844. He replied only within hours and his current pricing is similar to last year's pricing from Ian/Jennifer shared in various groups earlier. I've ended up purchasing 10 yr/ 125k Toyota Platinum extended warranty (non-hybrid) from Jerry this morning for $1,795. I realize that I still have 2 more years, but I did not want to risk the potential price increases in the future. Jerry was very responsive and was easy to deal with. I ask Jerry what he charges for 10 yr/125k warranty and he said it was $2,070.

really makes you wonder if Toyota dealers are running some kind of secret club where email replies are a rare privilege and not a basic expectation and is it just me or does Jennifer's $400 price bump feel like she's trying to cover for inflation single-handedly Jerry seems like the hero of this saga with his quick replies and reasonable pricing but seriously the whole 10-year non-hybrid deal sounds like gambling on whether prices go up or warranties go extinct props to her for locking it in but man this warranty pricing game feels like a reality show no one signed up for.

dealers love playing the markup game, so locking it in early was probably a solid move. That $400 jump is nuts though, either Toyota bumped prices, or some folks are just padding their pockets. Jerry seems like the real MVP here😂. Quick replies, fair pricing, can't ask for much more. Might just have to hit him up myself before the next price hike lol

Bottomline, we should'nt buy that nonsense lol. My advice, take care of your cars like how you take care of yourself. Prevention is better than cure guys, 1 symptom is enough reason to bring them to the dealer.

Hey. I appreciate you sharing all that, it's all super helpful! Looks to me like Jerry came through clutch with fair pricing and quick accommodation. Honestly, locking it in early like that was a smart move.
