Never been so shocked in my life, there was smoke coming out of my steering wheel while driving in the winter with the heater on. Heat element burn through the leather, so I just stop using this feature. I own a Highlander platinum 2020, and the new wheel costs more than $700, oh lord... At the moment idk what I should do, does anyone have the same experience?

Are you sure the smoke is from the heater element though because that doesn't sound right if the heater element burned through the leather it should've stopped working before causing that kind of damage plus if it's really that bad you might have some wiring issue going on which could be a bigger risk than just avoiding the heater feature I'd suggest getting it checked out properly instead of just ignoring it unless you're fine with risking an electrical fire
